Title is an important element of a map. Every map has title; it is an important part of map design. In fact, map title is the most generalized description of the total content of the map and should therefore be at an eye-catching positing. Besides the subtitle in a map can be included. But distinction should be made between the main title and the subtitle. The main title covers the area being mapped; the subtitle explains the theme of the map. The text used for the main title is the largest, which appears on the map.
